A Self-Help Technique on the hand using the Solar Plexus Reflex Point for calming and soothing the mind and body.


Try this exercise....

The Solar Plexus reflex point is great for soothing the mind, the body and spirit, it's a fabulous de-stress button.

On the hand, it is presented right in the dip of the palm.  Cup your hand as if you were catching a rain drop and with the thumb of the other hand gently press this point and hold for 10 seconds, then move the thumb in a rotating motion.  Do this in conjunction with some gentle deep breathing in and out and you'll find that a calmness comes about you and any pressure you are feeling gradually dissipates.

I find this technique effective not just as an additional relieving pain management tool but to wind down at the end of the day.
